Arlington Heights police received a report about 2:49 AM Thursday of a hit-and-run crash at Northwest Highway and Arthur Avenue. Police received a report that a white wagon station “hit something” and the object was still in the roadway. The vehicle headed westbound on Davis. Police investigated the crash at Northwest Highway and Arthur Avenue and found a DUI driver suspect of hitting a fixed object (not confirmed). Police found the male driver and vehicle in the 400 block of South Cleveland Avenue and transported the driver in custody to Arlington Heights Police Department Headquarters with a DUI charge. Police towed the driver’s white Subaru Impreza to a police holding area.
