Arlington Heights Park District Neighborhood Parks Referendum Sign Vandalized “No More Taxes” Near Riley School on East Burr Oak Drive

Arlington Heights police received a report about 9:45 AM Tuesday of vandalism at James Whitcomb Riley School, 1209 East Burr Oak Drive. Police received a report that an Arlington Heights Park District Neighborhood Parks Referendum sign was spray-painted with writing. The phrase “NO MORE TAXES” was sprayed with red paint over the green park district sign.

A theft of a Neighborhood Parks Referendum sign was also reported recently at Cronin park near South Middle School. The signs are believed to have a value of about $500 or slightly less.
