Arlington Heights police received a report Monday of two bike thefts in the 300 Block of West Kirchoff Road in a residential yard. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders removed the following bicycles from the yard: girl’s purple Mongoose BMX bicycle valued at $150 and a boy’s red/black Wipe-Out BMX bicycle valued at $150. The purple Mongoose bicycle was found in some bushes on the 1300 block of E Central Rd.
The crime is reported to have occurred on October 1, 2012 between 8:00 am-8:00 pm.
