Mount Prospect police responded about 5:49 AM Saturday to a report of trespass to a vehicle and battery at a parking lot at Colonial Greens apartments on 2002 West Algonquin Road. Police received a report that two male/Hispanic offenders were involved in a trespass to vehicle and battery to a victim, who was apparently trying to protect his vehicle. The offenders were described as wearing a (1) a red and black hoodie and (2) a green hoodie. Both offenders had brown eyes and black hair and were wearing blue jeans.
The offenders were last seen eastbound on foot through High Lines Park — under the high tension power lines.
