Prospect Heights police responded about 4:58 PM Sunday of shots fired at 890 Piper Lane. Police also received a report that the male/teen offender was sighted at Milwaukee Avenue and Palatine Road, and that he was shooting “eastbound” into the forest preserve.
The teen was described as male/Hispanic 14-16 wearing a black hoodie and red sweat pants. The offender was also on a bicycle.
He was possible shooting into the forest preserve and then put a shiny object in his waistband.
No word on any contact with the offender.
