Arlington Heights police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 5:49 PM Thursday to a report of a car fire at Stonebridge Apartments, 900 West Rand Road. Police and firefighter/paramedics reported a fully-involved vehicle fire in a back lot, and arrived to find a Ford Explorer fully-involved with fire from front to rear.
A man was also burned in the fire, and firefighters immediately called for an ambulance for a burn victim. The man was able to walk to the ambulance, and was transported to Northwest Community Hospital.
