DUI crashed vehicle into tree on North Windsor Drive, just south of Eastman Street.
Arlington Heights police responded about 8:50 PM Friday to a car vs. tree crash in the 1700 block of East Eastman Street. Police received an update that a female driver was walking away from the scene, northbound on Windsor Drive. The female had blond hair was wearing a white coat and carrying a purse. She then walked back her vehicle, and then headed back northbound on Windsor Drive. Police found her near the scene.
Police found the driver’s crashed sedan northbound on the southbound side parkway of Windsor Drive — crashed into tree in the 200 block of North Windsor.
The driver was arrested DUI and transported in custody to Arlington Heights Police Department Headquarters. No injuries were reported. Apparently no other passengers were in the vehicle. The incident was classified as a DUI accident.
