Coyote Reported Hit By Car On Palatine Rd Near Schoenbeck Rd Not Found By Police

Arlington Heights police received multiple report about 12:21 PM Sunday of an animal complaint in the eastbound lanes of Palatine Road west of Schoenbeck Road. Police received a report that a coyote was hit by a car in the eastbound lanes. Police arrived and checked both directions. No coyote was seen in the area by police, but the Arlington Heights Police Department animal welfare officer checked Palatine Road east of Schoenbeck Road and found the coyote near the westbound frontage road near the Elmhurst Road bridge.

The coyote was transported in unknown condition to an animal rehabilitation center in Barrington.
