Purdue Flag, Indiana State College Flag, Tennessee Banner Reported Stolen on North Chestnut Ave, Pine Ave, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police received a report Saturday night of of theft from the front yard in the 900 block of North Pine Avenue. Police received a report that offenders took a yellow 3′ x 5′ Purdue University flag from a flag pole, and a black 3′ x 5′ Indiana State College flag from a flag pole in the front yard of a house.

A witness reported offenders fled in a burgundy SUV Chevrolet Suburban in another flag theft on Chestnut Avenue about 30-60 minutes earlier. Two occupants, male/white subjects in their 20s, were in the offending vehicle. The driver was wearing blue jeans and a navy and black T-shirt. A 4′ x 4′ orange University of Tennessee banner worth $100 was also reported stolen. An early report on the Chestnut Avenue also involved a Texas A&M flag, but has not been confirmed.
