The Arlington Heights Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring its 2nd Annual Health & Wellness 5K-Run/Walk on Saturday, October 6, 2012 at Arlington Park Racetrack. Same day registration begins at 9:30 a.m. The race begins promptly at 11:00 a.m. at Arlington Park Race Track.
Participants and spectators should enter on the Wilke Road Entrance. Entry Fee includes entry to the race, a dry-fit shirt, a race medallion and post-race food and refreshments.
ON-LINE REGISTRATION IS OPEN NOW. Arlington Heights Chamber of Commerce organizers have a registration form available at their web page and an online registration page here.
Race Packets may be picked up in advance from Piatti Pronti Restaurant at 210 East Grove Street in Arlington Heights between 11:00 am and 3:00 pm, and between 4:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on October 4th and 5th, 2012.
Autumn Harvest is also held on this day, Saturday October 6, 2012 (See The Cardinal Autumn Harvest at North School Park; “Pedal Hard-Breathe Easy” Bike Ride at Hasbrook, Saturday, October 6).
