Schaumburg police responded about 9:04 PM Sunday to a fight that “just occurred” with people fleeing at Schaumburg Septemberfest near Schaumburg Road and near Village Hall. Police were looking for three male/black subjects with tank tops and backpacks that were sweating profusely near the food tent.
At least two females were transported in custody for disorderly conduct and possibly other charges. One female was a juvenile and one female was an adult. Numerous small fights were reported, which prompted police to clear out parts of the food tent area.
Police, including the police bike team, also broke up a fight on a shuttle bus about 10:15 p.m.
A battery to a police officer was also reported about 10:25 p.m. near the District 54 building, 524 East Schaumburg Road with one subject in custody.
