Apparently somebody didn’t like how the driver of the white Cadillac Escalade parked Thursday evening — air was let out of the one tire that was over the parking marking and taking up a second parking space.
Arlington Heights police received a report about 5:11 PM Thursday of criminal damage to vehicle at Xsport Fitness, 960 West Dundee Road. Police received a report that the tires of a white Cadillac Escalade were slashed. Witness saw two male/white subjects leave the area of the Escalade while laughing, then noticed air was coming out of the tires. Actually the “offenders” let air out of the valve stem of one tire that was taking up a second parking space..
Police reported that at least one tire on an Escalade was flat and that the Escalade was parked across two parking spaces.
Employees at Harbor Freight and police officers helped the motorist get air back in the tire with an air compressor from Harbor Freight.
