Schaumburg police responded about 3:31 PM Sunday to a report of a stolen auto in the 500 block of Willington Drive. The vehicle was described as a 2007 black Toyota Corolla. The vehicle was last seen in the owner’s driveway. The auto theft crime is reported to have occurred between 3:00 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.
The vehicle was later recovered when it was involved in a hit-and-run crash in front of Extra Value Wine, 2375 Bode Road. At least two suspects were arrested related to the stolen auto case.
