Motorcycle Reported Stolen from Apartment Complex on South Goebbert Rd, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police received a report of a motor vehicle theft in the 2100 block of South Goebbert Road. Police received a report that a red 2008 Honda CBR 1000 motorcycle was stolen while parked in the parking lot. The owner had both sets of keys and no other people were permitted to operate the motorcycle. No reposession was likely as the vehicle was 100% owned. Police checked the tow log with Northwest Recovery, which is responsible for relocation of illegally parked vehicles at the apartment complex. Northwest Recovery reports did not log any removal of the particular motorcycle.

The crime is reported to have occurred between Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at 11:00 p.m. and Wednesday, August 15, 2012 at 4:00 p.m.
