Arlington Heights police received a report about 7:46 AM Monday attempted burglary or criminal damage to property at the Mobil gas station, 815 West Rand Road. Police received a report that the front glass door was shattered, but apparently no entry was gained and no items were missing.
Police classified the case as criminal damage to property.
