Threatening with a Knife and Swinging Purse at Hillside Towing

Arlington Heights police responded about 12:45 p.m. Friday to a report of a woman with a knife at Hillside Towing, Arlington Heights Road and Palatine Road. Police received a report that a woman customer displayed a knife to a manager at the towing service, and was chasing the manager around the parking lot with the knife, while swinging a purse. The offender was described as a female/white, heavy set, about 40 years-old, wearing a purple shirt and gray shorts.

Police arrived on the scene within one minute and called out a ‘slow down’ to all other responding police units. Police report everything was somewhat calm after a few minutes.

No word on any arrest or charges.
