Fire Spreads to Three Buildings; Extra Alarm 3-11 Fire on 21st Place, Chicago

Chicago firefighters and police responded about 2:35 p.m. Tuesday to a fire in a three-story residential building at 2153 West 21st Place. The fire was quickly elevated to a 2-11 alarm and then a 3-11 alarm fire about 10 minutes later. The fire spread to one building on the west and two buildings on the east. One of the buildings collapse after showing heavy fire conditions.
