Battery Suspects Arrested Near Kennicott Ave and Palatine Rd, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police received a report about 8:15PM Thursday of a battery in the 300 block of North Salem and/or Kaspar Ave. Police were searching for suspects in the battery in the neighborhood between Kennecott Avenue, Thomas St., Wilke Road and Oakton Street after 8:30 PM until about 8:50 PM Thursday.

Police caught up with three suspects on the frontage road of Palatine Road near Kennicott Avenue at about 8:49 PM, Three suspects were being investigated, and were transported in custody to Arlington Heights Police Department Headquarters.

The suspects’ vehicle was described as a black Volvo, which was abandoned in the area. While they were on foot, an alert police officer spotted them eastbound on Palatine Road (frontage), just west of Kennicott Avenue. Police stopped the suspects just east of Kennicott Avenue. Two of the suspects took off their shirts, possibly to disguise their original physical description.
