Arlington Heights police received a report of a theft of motor vehicle parts in the parking garage at 155 East Eastman Street at Evergreen Avenue and Miner Street. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders removed resonators valued at $180 from a muffler on a silver 2005 Toyota Highlander. The crime was reported to have occurred between June 25, 2012 at 9:00 p.m. and June 26, 2012 at 6:30 a.m.
A separate theft of motor vehicle parts occurred at the parking garage on June 25, 2012 between 8:15 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. A catalytic converter valued at $1,500 was stolen from a 2012 Toyota Highlander.
Also report was a theft of a catalytic convertor was also reported from a silver 2008 Lexus RX330 at the parking garage at 22 South Vail Avenue — across from Dunton Tower Apartments. The Lexus crime was reported to have occurred June 25, 2012 at 6:00 p.m. and June 26, 2012 at 7:00 a.m.
