Arlington Heights police received a report of a theft of a lawn mower from the front parkway of a residence in the 400 block of West Hackberry Drive. An unknown offender or offenders removed a red Honda 7hp lawn mower valued at $400 from the front parkway lawn. Police suspect a scrap metal collector may have taken the lawn mower.
The crime is reported to have occurred on Monday, May 28, 2012 between 2:00pm-2:30pm.
