Arlington Heights police responded about 2:55 a.m. Wednesday to a report of a fight in progress in the 1700 block of West Grove Street. Police received a report that a male and a female were fighting in the middle of the street, and were possibly associated with a Nissan. Police were updated that the dark-colored vehicle was then moving eastbound on Grove Street.
The vehicle parked again near Reuter Drive and police were in contact with the people in the vehicle by 2:59 a.m. Wednesday.
Police transported one subject — gender not reported — in custody to Arlington Heights Police Department Headquarters.
