Arlington Heights police received a report about 6:53 a.m. Wednesday of criminal damage to vehicle in the 500 block of East Hawthorne Street. Police received a report that the passenger side window of a green Honda Accord was smashed overnight.
Several vehicles were burglarized and a garage was burglarized in the neighborhood overnight Wednesday-to-Thursday (May 23-24, 2012). Also, two suspicious subjects were reported about 2:10 a.m. Saturday, May 26, 2012 at Hawthorne Street and Douglas Street. A witness reported that one male subject was a lookout in the intersection — watching both directions on Douglas Avenue and Hawthorne Street — while a second male subject checked vehicle doors on a driveway on the southeast corner of Douglas Avenue and Hawthorne Street.
