Arlington Heights police received a report about 4:11 PM Monday of a shoplifter fleeing the Kohl’s, 800 W. Dundee Rd. Police received a report of three subjects with at least one female suspect running from loss prevention personnel.

The three female subjects got into a silver Lexus and were reported last seen weaving through the parking lot and exiting the shopping center near Fox and Hound Tavern. The vehicle was then seen proceeding eastbound on Dundee Road.

The suspects were reported to have allegedly taken jewelry and a purse.

An alert Buffalo Grove police officer discovered the Lexus by O’Reilly’s auto parts store, also near the Bank of America, at the shopping center at the southwest corner of Arlington Heights Road and Dundee.

The driver was arrested, and the driver’s Lexus ES 300 was towed to a police holding area.
