Townhouse Fire on College Hill Circle, Schaumburg

Schaumburg police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 7:51 p.m. Sunday to a townhouse fire in the 2700 block of College Hill Circle Drive. Multiple calls were received when flames began to appear to the outside of the building on the second floor.

Police arrived first on the scene and reported the a townhouse unit was well-involved with fire. Firefighters fought the fire with an interior attack and contained the fire to the single townhouse unit. A check for fire extension to other units found no fire extension.

The fire was reported struck out at about 8:26 p.m. Sunday. Two searches of the inside of the building were completed, with no fire victims found during the searches.

During the fire, Quentin Road was shut down between Euclid Avenue and Algonquin Road.
