Theft of Taxi Cab Service: Offender Jumps Into Blue Minivan

Arlington Heights police responded about 1:24 a.m. Sunday to a report of a theft of services from a taxi cab driver at the Arlington Park train station parking lot. Police received a report that a the cab transported a man to Arlington Park destination. The passenger jumped out of the cab without paying and jumped into a blue Dodge Caravan. The minivan driver fled and was last seen heading eastbound on Euclid Avenue. No word on whether there was a getaway driver that picked up the offender, or whether the offender drove the minivan.
