Man Arrested After Battering and Choking Girlfriend on Windbrooke Dr, Buffalo Grove

Buffalo Grove police responded about 12:55 a.m. on Thursday, March 22, 2012 to an unknown problem involving a female that was choked until she passed out in the 1100 block of Windbrooke Drive. Police immediately called for paramedics upon arrival on the scene.

Police received information that the girlfriend and boyfriend got into an argument that became physical. The boyfriend allegedly pulled the girlfriend’s hair, pressed a knife on her wrists, elbowed her in the face and chocked her until she passed out. The boyfriend was arrested with the Assistant State’s Attorney approving charges for domestic battery and aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.
