UPDATE: Deavonte Cain, 17, Turns Himself in After Bartlett Shooting at Eatern and Oneida
Bartlett police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 7:32 p.m. Tuesday to a report of a person that said he had just been shot by a person on a bicycle near Eastern and Oneida. The victim is a 17-year-old male that was shot in the upper back. The location of the intersection is just southwest of Bartlett Elementary School, 111 East North Avenue. Police arrived and reported seeing a bunch of kids running in the area.
The offender was reported to be a male/black on a bicycle, who was last seen fleeing eastbound. He was also reported to be wearing a white T-shirt. One witness reported hearing seven gunshots. Bartlett police are also investigating other leads from witnesses.
