Rolling Meadows police responded about 1:35 a.m. Tuesday to a report of arson and criminal damage to vehicle in progress in the 2600 block of Kirchoff Road. The fire was extinguished immediately, and before police arrived.
The offenders were described as two male subjects age 18-25-years-old: (#1) described as a short male/white wearing a large white hoodie, and (#2) a male subject wearing a dark or black hoodie sweatshirt.
The crime is reported to have occurred about 1:25 a.m. Tuesday.
Police were out with two subjects on Martin, but the subjects were cleared. Police were also out with other suspects in the area, but descriptions were incomplete and the witness left the area before police arrived.
