Arrest at Best Buy After Woman Suspected of Possessing Stolen Credit Card, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police responded about 8:02 p.m. Friday to Best Buy, 615 East Palatine Road to a report of suspected credit card fraud. Police received a report that the suspect was described as a female/black about 35-years-old wearing a black shirt and black pants.

Police were just pulling into the lot when they were updated that the suspects fled in a silver station eastbound on Rand Road. An alert police officer caught up to the station wagon and stopped the vehicle near the Taco Bell, east of Camp McDonald Road.

Two occupants were in the vehicle. Once suspect was transported in custody to Arlington Heights Police Department Headquarters. A second person also transported to the police station, but not in custody.

The driver’s silver 1993 Mercury station wagon was towed to Arlington Heights police department for further investigation.
