  1. I have just read your story on the loud booms in Clintonville WI. I was at my parents house this weekend with my daughter in Somerset, WI. Somerset is at least some 2 hours west of Clintonville. Around 5pm sunday night my mom, my daughter and I heard a very loud “boom” coming from the south of us towards the direction of the Apple River. The “booms” happened another 2 times during the night and were so loud that we called the police non-emergancy line to see if something was happening but we recieved no clear reply. The neighbor heard the same noise as well and I am possitive alot of others had to as well. I was just wondering if you have recieved other reports from else where in WI, IL, or MN about hearing the booms? It is happening elsewhere.
