Schaumburg police responded about 12:28 p.m. Friday to a report that a vehicle burglary just occurred in the 1000 block of Morris Avenue. Police received a report that an offender stole a car battery and fled on foot eastbound from the scene. The suspect was described as a male/unknown race about 30-years-old wearing a blue jacket.
