Man Investigated After Suspected of Stealing Pain Relievers at Jewel-Osco on Vail Ave

Arlington Heights police responded about 9:51 a.m. Wednesday to a report of a theft in progress at Jewel-Osco, 122 North Vail Avenue. The suspect was described as a male/white subject wearing a blue jacket and carrying crutches. Police received a report that the suspect was stealing pain relievers, and that he was leaving the store. The subject had denied to store staff that he was stealing the pain relievers. Police were on the scene by 9:53 a.m. and were in contact with the suspect, and were investigating the suspect.

No word on any arrest.
