Arlington Heights police responded about 12:25 a.m. Monday to a report of a hit-and-run in the 2400 block of South Goebbert Road. Police received a report that a witness saw an offender hit a parked vehicle, get out of his vehicle, pickup pieces from his own vehicle, and flee the scene.
The offending vehicle was described as a green Jeep Cherokee with front end damage and possibly missing a front bumper. The offending vehicle was last seen heading northbound on Goebbert Road. The victim’s vehicle was an unoccupied dark blue minivan.
