Schaumburg police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 6:27 a.m. Sunday to a vehicle vs. electric power pole in the 1300 block of Wiley Road at the curve. Emergency responders received a report that there were no injuries.
Com Ed was called to the scene and was reported to be working for an extended period with the roadway near the curve blocked in both directions for a prolonged period Sunday morning.
No report of whether the victim was out of the car before rescuers arrived.
