Mount Prospect police responded to a report about 11:52 a.m. Tuesday that loss prevention personnel at Menard’s were following a retail theft suspect outside toward Aldi’s in the 700 block of East Rand Road. The offender was described as male/Hispanic about 37-years-old with a heavy build, wearing a black jacket and blue jeans. Within a few minutes police were out with a female/white about 25-years-old behind Aldi’s. Police were investigating that subject, but there was no word on any arrest available.
