Residential Burglary on Lincoln, Rolling Meadows

Rolling Meadows police received a report about 8:13 p.m. Monday of a burglary in progress in the 4500 block of Lincoln. Police received a report that residents arrived home and found a bedroom ransacked. The residents also reported a vehicle that was in the front of the house was gone soon after the burglary was discovered.

Rolling Meadows police arrived within two minutes and discovered a broken sliding glass door at the rear of the house.

Police established a perimeter in the neighborhood, and Arlington Heights police arrived with a K-9 unit for tracking. No word on any contact with any suspect or suspects. No vehicle description available at the time of publishing.

An evidence technician was called to the scene. A board-up service also responded to secure the sliding glass door area.
