Call for Alleged Fraudulent Credit Card Use at Best Buy; Arrests at Burger King

Arlington Heights police responded about 7:05 p.m. Tuesday to Best Buy, 615 East Palatine Road for an investigation. Police received a report that a man was allegedly using a credit card fraudulently. The male suspect was described as a male/black, about 35-years-old, dark hair with a goatee, wearing a black puffy jacket and khaki pants. He was last seen headed toward the Burger King.

A female was also apparently with the male. Police were on the scene within two minutes and had both subjects detained by 7:17 p.m. A third suspect was also possibly detained. Possibly at least three suspects were transported to Arlington Heights Police Department Headquarters. Specific charges on suspects was not available.

Police did K-9 sniff on the suspects’ vehicle, which was a black Ford Edge parked by the Burger King. the Ford Edge was towed to a police holding area.
