Prospect Heights police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 2:37 p.m. Thursday to a report of a stabbing in the 800 block of Piper Lane. Police entered an apartment where a dispute was reported.
The offender was described as a male/Hispanic, medium build, medium height, wearing a baseball hat and a jacket. He was last seen running away from the area of 800 Piper Lane.
The stabbing may have occurred after a dispute. A second person may have been injured.
