#ad▼

Schaumburg police responded about 7:24 a.m. Thursday to a report that a vehicle hit a police officer directing traffic in front of Schaumburg High School. Three or four youths were in the vehicle, which was described as a green vehicle — possibly a 1998 Honda 4-Door. The vehicle hit the officer’s hip, and then took off to a back parking lot. The police officer reported he was not injured.

Schaumburg police were searching for the vehicle and driver, and checking license plate registration.
