Rolling Meadows police received reports from about 6:16 a.m. Tuesday to 4:20 p.m.Tuesday of multiple vehicle burglaries in the neighborhood within Kirchoff Road, Rohlwing Road, Euclid Avenue, and Wilke Road. About seventeen vehicle burglaries were reported during the day. Most or all of the burglaries involved unlocked vehicles. Some items from the vehicles were also found strewn in the streets of the neighborhood. Some of the vehicles were discovered with their doors still open. Police patrolling the area after the report of multiple burglaries discovered an open vehicle door in the 2900 block of Dove. The vehicle was found to be burglarized.
