Jeep Liberty Crashes Into Tree on East Burr Oak Dr, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police responded about 12:55 a.m. to an SUV vs. tree crash in the 300 block of East Burr Oak Drive. Police arrived to find a black Jeep Liberty crashed into a tree with severe damage and a wheel torn off. The driver abandoned the vehicle. Police checked license registration, found the driver at home, and called paramedics for the driver. No word on whether the driver was transported to the hospital. Also no word on whether DUI or other charges were filed.
