Lake County Sheriff’s Police Department alerted area police agencies of a retail theft at 4190 State Highway 83 in Long Grove, Illinois. Police received information that a male/white suspect about 19-years-old wearing a black stocking cap and black hoodie was involved in a retail theft incident involving a bottle of alcohol. The suspect got into a tan Nissan with temporary plates that was reported traveling eastbound on Aptakisic Road. An alert Buffalo Grove police officer spotted the car approaching Buffalo Grove Road. As a Lake County Sheriff deputy arrived on the scene, both officers stopped the vehicle near Aptakisic Road and Buffalo Grove Road. Three suspects in the car were taken into custody and transported to a police jail.
