Buffalo Grove police responded about 8:28 p.m. Friday to a report of a residential burglary in the 300 block of Cherrywood Road. Police received a report that the resident found a broken window, and had already gone through the entire house and found items missing before calling police. Another burglary was reported about 7:38 p.m. Friday about 2.5 miles north of the Cherrywood incident in the 1000 block of Alden Lane.
