Multiple Calls on Reckless Driver on South Lincoln Lane, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police responded about 8:29 p.m. Saturday to a report of a reckless driver in the 400 block of South Lincoln. Police received several calls with accumulating info reporting a black Chevy Camaro sports car with blue headlights driving up and down Lincoln Lane about 60 mph.

No word on police contact with the offending driver.

  1. i was driving along wilke road for rand rd. i was driving the right speed when suddenly a driver pass by me since that rd. is no passing zone. his speed is approx.45 – 50 mpr. when we reach the stop light od rand road that rivht to i- 53 italk to the driver, he is a young african american and began to e verbally abusiveand thats in front of my 5 yr. old daughter. he had a passenger i got his plate no. k97 3294 silver mustang or charger with a bumpin yhe right side hopefully you a war this guy because he seems so dangerous from the way he talk. thank you.

It’s also best to call 9-1-1 as soon as safely possible to report reckless driving and/or road rage. Calls to police are most helpful when the offender is still in the area, and police could possibly stop the motorist and investigate the report. If the police read this comment, they might investigate the license plate, and be on the lookout for future offenses. Otherwise, if you still would like to report the incident, you could still call Arlington Heights police or Palatine police.
