Elk Grove Village police received a report about 7:16 a.m. Monday to a report of criminal damage to property/burglary attempt in the 2200 block of Landmeier Road, just west of Higgins Road. Police received a door to a commercial building showed signs of criminal damage with a possible attempt to burglarize the building.
An evidence technician was called to the scene.
