Two Retail Theft Suspects Flee Loss Prevention at Marshalls, Caught by Police on Rand Rd

Arlington Heights police responded about 7:49 p.m. Saturday to a report of a retail theft at Marshalls, 601 East Palatine Road. Police received a report that two female/white subjects were attempting to get in a silver PT Cruiser after removing items from the store without paying. Police also received an update that the two female subjects fled westbound on Rand Road in the PT Cruiser. Also inside the vehicle were another female and a male.

Police caught up with the PT Cruiser and stopped the vehicle at about 600 West Rand Road. The offenders were described as a female/white with long blonde hair and dark roots. The second females described as and older female/white subject with shorter blond hair. A police officer at Marshalls was reviewing security video and communicating the descriptions of the female subjects to the police on the traffic stop.

Both females were transported in custody to Arlington Heights Police Department Headquarters.
