Hit-and-Run Vehicle vs. House on Wilke Rd, Rolling Meadows

Rolling Meadows police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 1:21 a.m. Monday to report of a van vs. a house crash in the 3000 block of Wilke Rd, Rolling Meadows — near Wilke Road and Grove Street in Arlington Heights. Police received a report that the driver of a silver Concord vehicle hit the house, backed up into a tree, and fled eastbound on Grove Street in Arlington Heights.

Rolling Meadows firefighter/paramedics checked on occupants of the house and found no apparent injuries to people in the house.

Arlington Heights police were checking the neighborhood, just east of the crash. The vehicle was expected to have extensive front-end damage. The corner of the house was damaged.
