Criminal Damage to Property at True Value Hardware, Palatine

Palatine police received a report about 7:25 p.m. Friday of criminal damage to property at True Value Hardware, 790 West Euclid Avenue. Police received a report that an offender or offenders threw a brick threw a window of the store.

Earlier today — about 11:39 a.m.– Palatine police responded to a report of retail theft at the True Value Hardware store. A suspect in a retail theft incident was involved in a struggle with employees, who were also attempting to detain the suspect.

The suspect was arrested and transported to Palatine Police Department Headquarters this morning.
