Palatine police responded about 1:47 a.m. Friday at the Hotel Bolero, 920 East Northwest Highway, Palatine. Police received a report that no weapon was displayed, but that the offender had his hand in his pocket. The offender was described as a male/black, 5’8″ 130 LBS, wearing a dark-blue or black hoodie, blue jeans and a black hockey mask. The offender told a hotel clerk, “This is a robbery; give me all your money.”
The offender was able to get away with cash.
Hotel Bolero is in the building of the former Hotel Indigo, just west of Route 53 on Route 14.
