Mount Prospect police responded about 3:33 a.m. Saturday to a burglar alarm at Mr. Beef and Pizza, 1796 South Elmhurst Road. About 10 minutes after their arrival on the scene, Mount Prospect police had one suspect in custody.
Police checked the area in case there were any accomplices. A K-9 unit from Rosemont Police Department assisted Mount Prospect police.
One suspect was transported in custody to Mount Prospect Police Department Headquarters.
